Parents - a true or false question?

Older %26amp; wiser than we are, our parents will always act in our best interests and should be obeyed. True or false %26amp; why?Parents - a true or false question?
In general that's true, but like anything else there can be exceptions.Parents - a true or false question?
False, parents more or less act in our best interest, whether it's what would REALLY be good for us or not. Most parents do try to make the best decisions for their kids, but there are going to be ones that don't. As well, keep in mind that your parents are only human and DON'T know everything, so what they think maybe best might actually be bad for you.

However, what I've learned is that my parents are older and wiser than me, and as much as I hate to admit it sometimes, their advice are generally good.
Unfortunately, there are people who become parents that do not have the best interest of their children at heart.

Generally speaking though, unless a parent tries to do something or tries to get the child to do something that is illegal or immoral, they should be obeyed,
False. Some of today's parents do not take care of their children the way they should because they are not even looking at things in their own best interests. Giving their kids alcohol and drugs.Allowing sex before marriage. You should listen to your parents ONLY if it does not go against the bible. God comes before anyone.
Where did you find these PERFECT PARENTS? Mine were not that way, neither did they get wiser as they got older. Should I obey a mother who dumped me on my

grandmother? and a father who was a drunk and tried to kill us several times?

Your question is a fantasy and has no meaning in real life.
False.

';For ALL have sinned and fall short of the glory of God';...that includes parents.

The question is actually double-barrelled...it is definitely false that our parents will ALWAYS act in our best interests...but we should definitely obey them while we are obligated to do so (e.g., until we are independent adults), UNLESS they tell us to do something that is against the law (the law of the land or God's law).

Always? No............

Some parents are not 'good' parents. Some are selfish beyond our imaginations. Sadly, abuse and misuse of children does happen. This is not the norm, but it does rule out ';always';.

For most, it is true.
When you're a kid then yes.

The only time you shouldn't is when they ask you to do something that you believe to be wrong. Or when you're 18 that works too.
Not all Parents are loving and wise. But most love unconditionally.

A loving parent has no choice but to love the child. The child must grow to love the Parent.
False. Being old does not necessarily make you wise. My dad is very stupid and immature. The reason he still doesn't have a job.
True. Read Ephesian 18 i think it is. You should always obey your mother and father.
