True or False question about government?

there have been no attempts by the federal government to limit production of agricultural productsTrue or False question about government?
False. Since before I was born in 1952 there have been federal programs in place where farmers were paid not to grow crops.

Joseph Heller had a farmer in Catch 22 argue that God gave the farmer two hands to grab as much federal subsidy money as possible. The man then bought another farm with his federal cash so he could not grow even more wheat.

While that is fiction it does reflect the lunacy of this policy.True or False question about government?
extreamly false.

Farmers have been subsidised NOT to grow for decades.

That's why most of your veggies are from large corporate hot houses and none of them really seem to have a flavor anymore.
