i was driving today and in random areas it seemed to go off...it seems to go off near banks....an ambulance also drove past me ...but not warning signal it says i get...do all emergeny vehicals emmit these?Question about radar detectors and false alarms?
Certain detectors are still getting a lot of false reads, and other detectors have the ability to pick up the feed off an emergency vehicle. Now not all emergency units have that broadcaster, so you wont always get the alert (if your detector has that emergency function) so remember to keep your eyes checking behind as well as in front of you. Lastly, all detectors are required by the FCC to accept interference and to limit their own interference to other electronics.Question about radar detectors and false alarms?
walgreens and many pharmacys will set it off as well...
any building with a high security system and most emergance vehicals set it off, but usually it only sets of the one's that arent to good
