Question about false positive pregnancy tests?

I just took an ept digital pregnancy test and it said i was positive. I was overjoyed but wanted to double check so I chugged some water and then about 5 minutes later took a First Aid Rapid Response Test and it was negative. I then took another ept digital test a few minutes later and it was negative too. Has anyone had a similar experience or know what might be going on? I'm very confused.Question about false positive pregnancy tests?
You can't ''chug some water'' and take another test because you would dilute the hcg that makes the test positive. Wait until tomorrow morning or hold your urine for at least four hours to test again.Question about false positive pregnancy tests?

Pregnancy tests will NEVER give you a false positive result. They may give you a false negative, but the test turns positive from HCG hormone found in urine due to pregnancy. Congrats and enjoy your pregnancy! :)
Well Congrats you are Pregnant! You cant ';chug water'; that will effect the test. If you really want to double check try 1st thing tomorrow morning w/o chuging anything and it should be positive!
You always want to take those test in the morning if you can. If you chug water as everyone else has said it can effect your results. Your chances of a fulse possitive is not likely.
water will dilute the test. Take another test in the morning with first morning urine, it will be more concentrated. Try not to drink anything after 8 tonight and Good Luck!!
by drinking all the water the results of the second test would be diluted. congrats, your preg!
